Who We Serve
Family office accounting and consolidated reporting
Family wealth sits in many entities, accounts and investments. Fundtec brings them into one reconciled set of books and one consolidated report the family can rely on.
In one minute
Family office accounting records and consolidates a family’s holdings across trusts, holding companies, partnerships and investment accounts, including direct investments, co-investments and commitments to external funds. Fundtec provides multi-entity accounting, consolidated reporting, fund commitment tracking and investment operations for single and multi-family offices, on its Tychi platform or inside the office’s existing systems.
Firms of this type, whether they need full administration, a middle office, or capacity added to an existing team.
A 30-minute scoping call, then a written plan: scope, the transition timeline and indicative pricing. No generic proposal.
Why family office reporting is hard
A family office rarely holds wealth in one place. Assets sit across personal accounts, holding companies, trusts, partnerships and SPVs, often in several jurisdictions and currencies. Investments range from listed portfolios at several custodians to private equity funds, direct stakes in operating businesses, co-investments alongside sponsors and real estate.
Each entity needs its own books. The family needs one consolidated view. Most offices end up reconciling the two in spreadsheets, with intercompany loans and lagged fund statements creating persistent gaps. Fundtec keeps a proper general ledger for every entity and produces the consolidated report from those ledgers, so every number traces back to source.

One source for the family, its advisers and its auditors
Family offices share information with many parties: family members, trustees, tax advisers, auditors and lenders. Fundtec produces each report from the same reconciled ledgers, so the numbers a trustee sees agree with the numbers the tax adviser uses and the figures in the consolidated net worth statement. Differences are explained once, at source, rather than in every report. Where the family holds commitments to many external managers, the same fund of funds process handles lagged statements and estimates.

What is consolidated reporting for a family office?
Consolidated reporting combines every entity and account the family owns into one view of net worth, allocation, liquidity and performance. Fundtec produces it from the underlying ledgers of each entity, eliminating intercompany balances, so the family sees one reconciled picture that still traces back to each holding company, trust and account.
Can Fundtec account for many entities across jurisdictions?
Yes. Fundtec maintains separate ledgers for each holding company, trust, partnership and SPV, in local and reporting currencies, using a common chart of accounts. Intercompany loans and transfers are reconciled on both sides. Local statutory filings stay with the family’s appointed advisers, supported by Fundtec’s books.
How do you track direct investments and co-investments?
Each direct holding and co-investment has its own record: cost, ownership, valuation, income and related documents. Co-investments are linked to the sponsor’s main fund for context. Valuations follow the office’s policy and the latest company or sponsor information, and every change is dated and supported.
How do you handle private fund commitments for a family office?
Fundtec records each commitment, processes capital calls and distributions against the notice, collects quarterly statements and rolls lagged values forward for known cash flows. The family sees called, unfunded and distributed amounts by fund, plus IRR and TVPI, with a forecast of upcoming calls for liquidity planning.
Does family office data stay confidential?
Yes. Fundtec is ISO 27001 certified. Where work is done in the office’s own systems, access is through accounts the office controls with no local storage, and a data processing agreement is in place. Pod members are named, and access can be revoked by the office at any time.
Is Fundtec a multi-family office or wealth manager?
No. Fundtec does not give investment advice or manage assets. It acts as the operating back office: accounting, reconciliation, consolidation and reporting. The family and its advisers make investment decisions. This separation is often what families want, because it gives them an independent record of their wealth.
How long does it take to set up family office reporting?
Setup time depends mainly on the number of entities, accounts and private holdings, and the quality of historical records. The work starts with entity mapping and chart of accounts design, then history is loaded and reconciled. Fundtec agrees the first consolidated report format early so the family sees progress during setup.
